At 18, I moved to Boston for college from mostly-rural Kentucky. I visited New York for the first time during my freshman year and was simultaneously terrified, overwhelmed, turned on and inspired. I knew during my first night that I wanted to live there some day. And now, five years later, here I am in Brooklyn, pursuing the "young writer in New York" dream while tutoring poor kids and brewing espresso in a cafe. Yup, I switched jobs again. This is my New York story.
I like to be silly. I'm engaged to an awesome man and we happily live in Fake Poland. I love my cats and my handsome puppy. I have wonderful friends who I adore. Music is fun, especially the live kind. People are fun, too.
